Supply Chain Asia Awards 2008
The Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society (L&SCMS) was nominated earlier this year for the Education & Training Award in the Supply Chain Asia Awards for 2008. Mr. Peter Raven, Vice-Principal of The Turning Point Education Group was in Shanghai, last week to receive the award on the Society's behalf. The Turning Point is the official training partner of the Society in Singapore.
LSCMS Industry Pub Night - 10th July 2008
On 10th July the LSCMS had an evening of discussion with one of the premier personalities in Logistics in Asia today, Stuart Dickinson. Having recently joined leading executive recruiter, Logistics Recruitment in the role of Strategic Business Development Manager, Stuart possesses an extensive background in supply chain, logistics, sport and policing. An International rugby referee, and a bestselling author on the game, Stuart’s involvement for a long period of time at the highest levels of rugby shows a proven ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism as well as the ability to manage change and make decisions under extreme pressure. We were fortunate in having him come talk to us about his leadership experiences both on and off the field.
